In June of 1937, Carr Business Machines first opened its doors for business in Great Neck. Starting out as a Victor adding machine dealer and a Royal typewriter dealer, Carr began to build a customer base of small businesses (we serviced Charles Lindbergh`s typewriter!), as well as large organizations such as Hazeltine and Kings Park State Hospital. |
